    In the May 2017, Government of India underwent its third cycle of Universal Periodic Review (UPR) at the United Nations Human Rights Council. In the course of this UPR, AiNNI along with Asian Network of NGOs working with NHRI (ANNI) submitted a report on the working, state and performance of the National Human Rights Commission of India in October 2016.
